Project FINE is an organization that helps newcomers integrate into the community. They provide foreign language interpreters and translators as well as opportunities for education, information, referral, and empowerment for immigrants and refugees.

The Minnesota Marine Art Museum engages visitors in meaningful visual art experiences through education and exhibitions that explore the ongoing and historic human relationship with water.
Miller Mentoring
The Miller Mentoring program serves students in grades 5-12 at Winona Area Public Schools. The program is all about student success, which is more than academics. It’s also about social-emotional wellness and building trusted relationships in an encouraging atmosphere. Miller Mentoring promotes and nurtures the relationship between mentor and student. When a positive relationship is created, we begin to see our students gain appropriate social interactions, emotional maturity, improved self-confidence and academic success.
Let’s Erase The Stigma
Let’s Erase The Stigma is committed to navigating individuals through the shame attached to a stigma such as criminal history, chemical dependency, bad credit, and/or a negative medical diagnosis. This organization provides services tailored to provide resources to educate, empower and encourage personal growth.
IMPACT Center
The IMPACT Center is an inclusive, Christian-based youth center in Winona, MN serving children ages 5 and up, at absolutely no cost to the child or family. The IMPACT Center offers children homework assistance, snacks, group devotions, and free time to use their game equipment, watch movies, and socialize in a healthy safe environment. IMPACT Center emphasizes the basic Christian principles of: love, respect, and responsibility.

The mission of the Great River Shakespeare Festival is to enrich people’s lives by creating dynamic clearly understood productions of Shakespeare and other playwrights who celebrate the spoken word.
Frozen River Film Festival
The Frozen River Film Festival offers programs that engage, educate and activate viewers to become involved in the world. These programs provide a unique perspective on environmental issues, sustainable communities, adventure travel and sports, and diverse cultures while showcasing the art of documentary film. Our films often explore issues, concerns, and life’s successes that are usually not covered in the local media.
Foundation for Winona Area Public Schools
The Foundation for Winona Area Public Schools is an independent, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization established in 1991 and funded entirely by community and business supporters of education in Winona. The single purpose of the Foundation is to enrich and expand educational opportunities in Winona Area Public Schools by supporting important programs and projects that would otherwise not be available via normal district resources.
