Family & Children’s Center is an agency that provides a continuum of services designed to strengthen families and promote individual well-being.

Engage Winona drives equitable civic action and social change by working to ensure everyone has access, voice and power in community planning, decision-making and change-making.

Elder Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1988 in Rochester Minnesota, now serving Dodge, Olmsted, Wabasha and Winona Counties. Our mission is to support those 55 and better and their caregivers to have the opportunity to thrive and lead rewarding lives. Elder Network has an office and staff person in Winona and offers 8 non-medical programs and services including Caregiver Respite both volunteer and paid Companion, Caregiver Coaching, Friendly Visitor, Technology Assistance Program, Dementia Friends Info Sessions. We offer several support groups including: Chronic Conditions support group, After Caregiving Ends Support Group, Caregiver Support Group.

Cotter Schools challenges students to achieve their full potential and use their lives in the service of others. Cotter Schools serves students from 16 months through Grade 12 and cherishes experiences of faith and community, excellence in education and attention to each individual student.

Bringing Winonans together to build homes, communities, and hope for over 25 years. Through home construction, repairs, updates for aging adults, and accessibility modifications, we’re building a world where everyone has a decent place to live. HFH is a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that helps homeowners achieve strength, stability, and independence. Every purchase from the Habitat ReStore supports our mission locally. We are working to build home #53 in Winona in 2022.

Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota serves the poor and marginalized, advocates for social justice, and calls all people to the ministry of Christ.

Through Bridges’ preventative health approach to support healthy lifestyle & wellness, we offer services to address physical, emotional, and social health. All of our services are free and delivered by Winona State University health profession students, supervised by clinical faculty and licensed clinicians.

Bluffview Montessori School is a public charter school that follows the teaching methods and philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. As a charter school, we are an independent public school district that is governed and operated jointly by licensed teachers, parents and community members. Bluffview happens to be the first public Montessori School in the nation.

Big River Magazine is now a publication of the nonprofit Big River Voice. The 34-year-old magazine is working to reach out to more readers along the river and in the Driftless Area. We are also raising money to make all of our back issues available online, to publish more investigative stories and to host community meetings around the area.

The mission of the Benedictine Foundation Winona is to enhance the lives of the residents of Benedictine Saint Anne, Benedictine Callista Court and clients of Benedictine Adult Day Center by providing additional services, equipment and specialized services that may not otherwise be available except for the charitable gifts shared by our donors.
