Dear Donors and Community Members,

I trust this letter finds you well.  As 2023 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the increased impact the Winona Community Foundation is having in the broader community.  And I know that is happening because generous people like you invest in the Foundation and its mission.

Your collective contributions serve as an everlasting stream of resources that flow back into the community, forging a brighter future for us, our neighbors, and generations yet to come.  When you partner with the Foundation for your charitable giving, you magnify your impact:

  • Helping families facing financial hardships by providing emergency relief;
  • Providing vital support and shelter to individuals in need of stable housing;
  • Improving the mental health and well-being of our community;
  • Fueling the arts, culture, and creativity that make our community uniquely vibrant;
  • And so much more.

That is why I invite you to consider a gift to the Winona Community Foundation as part of your year-end giving plans.  Your unrestricted gift will be channeled back into the community through our grant-making efforts and annual operations.  Your gift to the Community Impact Endowment will add to the everlasting stream of charitable dollars for reinvestment in the community.  Or, alternatively, your gift to establish a donor advised fund empowers you to make grant decisions throughout the coming year and beyond.  Either of these gifts offers meaningful, fulfilling ways to support this place you proudly call home.

To make a lasting impact on our community and be a catalyst for positive change, please use the enclosed envelope, visit our website at www.winonacf.org, or contact me at 507.454.0441.  I’m eager to learn how you would like to impact your community and share different ways we can help!

At the Winona Community Foundation, every gift has the potential to change lives because we know it isn’t just about donating money; it’s about investing in the heart and soul of our community.  Together, we strive for excellence as we continue to build a community we are proud to call home.

With gratitude,

Nancy M. Brown
