Dear donors, partners, and friends,
As we approach the end of another year, I hope this letter finds you in good spirits and surrounded by people you care about.
The greater Winona area is truly special, and it’s people like you who make it thrive. Your gift to the Winona Community Foundation combines with others to address the pressing needs of our community, ensuring that vital resources are available for those who need them most. Your contributions have made a tangible difference in the lives of many, providing essential services, supporting local programs, and fostering a sense of belonging in our community.
This year, through community contributions and sound fiscal management, we made a first of its kind $100,000 Community Impact grant to Hiawatha Valley Mental Health. This grant addresses two pressing community needs: more support for mental health and housing. We did this in addition to our traditional community grant program. We could not do it without YOU!
As we look ahead to continuing service to the community, I ask you to include the Winona Community Foundation in your year-end giving. Your gift contributes the broader well-being and vitality of this area. Strong, resilient communities tend to attract more investment, provide better services, and improve the quality of life of all who live, work, and play here.
Whether you choose to contribute directly to the Foundation, establish your own donor-advised fund, or select one of our existing charitable funds, your generosity will create lasting, meaningful change.
To make your gift, please visit our website, www.winonacf.org/give, or contact me directly at (507) 454-0441. I would love to assist you in supporting the causes that matter most to you.
Every gift–no matter the size–plays an essential role in shaping the future of our community. Thank you for your commitment to making a difference. I wish you a joyful holiday season and a prosperous new year!
With gratitude,
Nancy M. Brown
