Winona County Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP) is a coalition of community members devoted to cultivating a drug-free culture for children and teens in the Winona area. We work within our schools and the wider community to raise awareness and reduce substance abuse through education and programs.
The Winona County Primary Prevention Program aims to to stop sexual and domestic violence in Winona County using the “Spectrum of Prevention”; Support Winona County coalitions and foster networks, promote education in our communities, educate providers/professionals and promote safe organizational practices; Educate public policy and legislation makers and strengthen individual knowledge and skills.
The Winona Goodfellows Fund has been in existence for more than 100 years, providing countless Winona-area children with warm winter clothing and footwear. We currently provide between 700 and 800 vouchers each fall to income-eligible children in grades preschool through six enrolled in Winona County schools.
The WSU Foundation exists to raise funds, steward them in perpetuity, and distribute them in ways that collaboratively support the mission of the University.
